This ComfortAI Mobile App Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) describes how ComfortAI LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) may collect, use, and otherwise process personal information we obtain when you use the ComfortAI mobile app (the “App”).
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of third-party websites, applications, or other online services. We encourage you to review all applicable terms, conditions, and privacy policies when using any other websites, applications, or online services.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you use the App, we may obtain your personal information, which is information that can identify you directly, or indirectly through combination with other information. This includes personal information we collect directly from you, such as:
- Account Information. When you register an account with ComfortAI, you may provide information such as your full name, postal address, email address, and telephone number. We or your HVAC contractor may assign you an account or customer number.
- Customer Interaction Information. We obtain any information that you provide to us, including any personal information, when you contact us or interact with the App.
Information obtained automatically. In addition to personal information that you choose to submit through the App, other technologies may collect information about you, your HVAC system, or how you interact with the App. For instance, we collect information about the sensors placed on your HVAC unit, including metrics from those sensors and other runtime data. We also collect historical service visit logs when you request an on-site maintenance visit. When you interact with our app, we may get information about the type of device you use, your IP address, device ID or other unique identifier, the App resources you review or interact with, the time and length of your App use, and other usage data.
Location information. We may use location-aware technologies to locate you (as determined by your IP address, GPS, Bluetooth, or WiFi signals, including information about nearby WiFi networks, location beacons, and cell towers) for purposes such as verifying your location or personalizing the App to provide you with more location-relevant content or services. Tracking technologies may also be used to enable security features and permit us to detect activity that might violate our terms.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may use your personal information collected through the App to:
- provide you with information, products, or services that you request;
- authenticate you and enable App features;
- communicate with you, such as to respond to your questions and tell you about new features or service offerings;
- improve the App and the products and services we offer, including running analytics and further training of our AI systems;

- prevent, identify, investigate, or take any other action with regard to suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity or activity that violates our terms or policies; or

We reserve the right to convert, or permit others to convert, any personal information into deidentified or aggregated data and to use personal information for any other purposes permitted by law.

We may disclose your personal information to our affiliates, partners, HVAC contractors, and other vendors. For example, we may use vendors to help us maintain our App or to manage activities on our behalf, such as sending emails, App maintenance, customer service, analytics, and online advertising. Interactions with our App may be monitored and retained for our use, and we may use vendors to collect, store, and analyze information you provide.
In the event of a business transaction, such as if we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets (for example, as part of a merger, reorganization, liquidation, or any other business transaction, including negotiations of such transactions), we reserve the right to disclose any personal information.
We may disclose personal information as permitted or required by law, for example, in response to a subpoena or search warrant, or where we determine that disclosure of specific information is necessary to comply with the request of a law enforcement or regulatory agency or other legal process. We also may disclose personal information to enforce our policies or to protect legal rights, property, or safety and as reasonably necessary to operate our business.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our App is not intended for or targeted to minors, and we do not knowingly request or collect personal information from any person under 16 years of age through the App. If we learn that we have received information directly from a child who is under the age of 16, we will delete the information in accordance with applicable law.
DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION
We take suitable measures to protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Although we follow reasonable procedures to safeguard information, the electronic transmission of data is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your information submitted or otherwise obtained online.
We retain your personal information for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which the personal information was collected, or as may otherwise be permitted or required under applicable law. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, at the end of the retention period, we will either aggregate or deidentify, or securely destroy your personal information.
YOUR CHOICES
Unsubscribing from Email Marketing. If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails from us, please click on the unsubscribe link in the relevant email or email us at support@comfortai.net. If you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send you administrative emails, such as those related to your account and your requested services.
Device Settings and Permissions. You can use your mobile device settings to limit mobile tracking technologies and associated activities. For instance, you can adjust or reset the advertising identifiers on your mobile device:
- iOS users can visit Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Reset Advertising Identifier.
- Android users can visit Google settings > Ads > Reset advertising ID.
Please note that some App features may not function properly if certain permissions are disabled or settings are changed.
Deleting Your Account. If you wish to delete your account and associated account data, please email us at support@comfortai.net and request your account deletion. We will inform you when your account deletion has been completed.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time at our discretion. The last updated date will always be provided at the top of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the App after any update will constitute your acceptance of our changes.
